Payments
For all the services contracted, an advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The balance can be paid upon arrival in INDIA before the commencement of the services. Payment can be made in cash. If payment is made through credit card, a small bank processing fee will apply.
Mode of Payment
Overseas advance payments can be made via PayPal or Bank Transfer.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements, written notification is required. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive your written notice:
- 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
- 48 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund
Note: In case of cancellation after the trip begins, refunds will be limited to amounts recoverable from hoteliers/contractors. No refund is applicable for unused accommodation, transportation, or missed meals.
Refund
Refunds for cancelled services will be based on the cancellation policy above. Refunds will be processed to the original payee and may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. Bank charges will be deducted from refund amounts if made via credit card or bank transfer.
Our Liabilities & Limitations
DiscoverTheTaj.com acts solely as an agent for hotels, airlines, railways, and service contractors. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of those providers.
Itineraries are sample schedules and may be altered due to weather, road conditions, physical ability of participants, etc. We reserve the right to modify any itinerary in the interest of safety and well-being.
We are not responsible for delays or additional expenses caused by natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns, political unrest, weather, or other unforeseen events.
We do not provide insurance for accidents, illness, theft, or loss. Visitors are advised to obtain travel insurance in their home country. All baggage and personal belongings are carried at the client's risk.
Our vehicles are insured under the Indian Motor Vehicles Act. Any claims will be processed as per insurance company rules in Indian Rupees.
